I hope you all have had a lovely winter, and if you're in a cold climate like me, despite that I really think snow is beautiful and enjoy it for a time...I'm certainly ready for spring!
Our available page has been completely updated with our current animals for sale, including a whole bunch of sexed 2012 gargoyles, some crested geckos, and even a couple leachies! Go take a look!
Also because I am gravid this year (!!) most of my reptiles have been given a break so I
can focus on my own little hatchling coming this summer. I'm sure you
all understand! There will still be a few select pairings, but not as
many as last year, nor will they be hatching/available anytime soon.
I apologize for my lack of updates! Things have been somewhat slow gecko-wise after the end of last year's breeding season. I have acquired a few more geckos during the fall, and still have some 2011 gargs available. Expect a website update soon with many more pictures under "Our Reptiles" and new information/photos on the available page. I'm proud to say that our 2012 breeding season has officially launched today with the discovery our very first fertile eggs, brought to you by Serena and Barq!
We also have some other exciting news to share, one of our female leachies has begun to lay dud eggs. The introduction process will be underway soon and With any luck we will have fertile leachie eggs this summer!
I'm currently down to only about 5 fertile eggs incubating, and right
now I only have four gargoyle hatchlings left! Things sure feel
underwhelming at the moment, but it's a good thing, as David and I are
getting ready to move into our first house soon. It's going to be
amazing to have our own place with our OWN washer and dryer that doesn't
take coins and we can use whenever we please. Also not to have to deal
with the gross carpet in our apartment and not being allowed to change
it. And being able to have a backyard to fence in for the pooches! Those
things are all great, but the BEST thing of all? I'm going to have a
reptile room with a SINK
